Who we Are
Potomac Paranormal Investigations was created in 2006 as a hobby and service to others. Our goal is to try and gain an understanding of the paranormal experiences people have. These experiences can be associated with a home, factory, church, grave yard or any environment people frequent. PPI uses scientific investigative techniques and tools as well as logical common sense. If experiences can not be explained by these methods, then we are left with a possible paranormal reason, this is why we investigate.
PPI studies each case on an individual basis using historical information, research of any available documentation and of course we listen to all of the claims of activity. Our investigational tools include digital records, digital camera's, infared video and photography, EMF detectors and K2 meters. We understand that paranormal activity or the claim of paranormal activity can be scary and a private matter. Therefore, any information gathered is only shared with the property or home owners and is not published on our website or shared with others unless permission is granted.
Potomac Paranormal is always seeking new investigations and we welcome your inquiry or request for answers and help. Our members volunteer their time to investiagte so we can work with you on scheduling the best times for your investigation all we ask is some flexability. PPI is located in Washington County, MD and we focus our efforts on the Washington DC, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virgina & West Virgina area. We never charge or accept a fee for our investigations. Donantions are accpeted to cover future investigations and research tools.
